The DG816 non-programmable room thermostat is the simplest thermostat in the Homplex portfolio. DG816 has a rotary knob that can be operated to change the temperature in the home.

The LCD screen shows the new set temperature as well as the current room temperature.

Thanks to its easy-to-use control panel, the DG816 is a perfect fit for grandparents’ homes – it can be easily operated by anyone, regardless of age.

Simultaneous display The DG816 displays both the set and ambient room temperature on the LCD screen.

Temperature alarm You are informed when the ambient temperature in your home is too low ("LO" displayed on the screen) or too high ("HI") to consume energy efficiently.

Frequent questions

How do I know when to replace the thermostat batteries?

The low battery symbol will be displayed on the thermostat screen. We then recommend replacing the flat batteries with new alkaline batteries as soon as possible.

The thermostat does not send the heating command to the central heating, why?

If the DG816 does not send the heating command to the central unit, make sure that all connections have been made correctly.

Can I fit the DG816 room thermostat myself?

Even though the DG816 is an intuitive, easy-to-use thermostat, we recommend that you call in a specialist for installation. Incorrect mounting can cause malfunction.

"E1" is displayed on the screen, why?

The "E1" error on the DG816 indicates that the temperature sensor is short-circuited. Contact our Technical Department for a solution if your product is under warranty.

"HI" and "LO" displayed occasionally on the thermostat indicate what?

When the ambient temperature is higher than 30 ºC, the thermostat will indicate "HI". If it has dropped below 5ºC, the thermostat will indicate "LO".
