Description
The Hydrant elbow with foot (hydrant support elbow, elbow with foot or elbow with foot and steel flanges) is a piece that connects the hydrant itself and the hydrant supply installation used against fire. It is provided with a support for supporting the weight and balancing of the hydrant and with steel flanges at both ends for coupling the underground or above-ground hydrants to the supply installation. For corrosion protection the hydrant elbow is painted with bituminous or epoxy paint.
The foot elbow ensures the connection of various vertically mounted fittings or fire hydrants to a horizontally mounted supply pipe by means of two flanges with PN10 / PN16 connection dimensions.
