Description
The EX14 is a large solenoid valve. The EX14 is a solenoid valve that can be connected to gas leak detection equipment, a fire alarm circuit or other types of design variants.
The material from which the valve body is made is aluminium. Trigger time is less than one second. The supply voltage is 230 V / 50 – 60 Hz and has a maximum pressure of 500 mbar.
When tensioned, the solenoid valve coil releases and isolates the latch. From the moment the coil receives the electrical impulse from the gas leak detection and protection equipment until the methane gas supply is triggered and switched off is less than one second.
Resetting the solenoid valve is manual to check the causes of gas detection. The solenoid valve is mounted outside the home. It must be visible and easily accessible. Under normal conditions there is no electrical absorption, without wear. Using a solenoid valve where a methane gas consumer is located is beneficial. This reduces the risk of deflagration due to a gas leak.
Homplex has in its portfolio numerous solenoid valves available for natural gas supply installations, with various nominal diameters, normally open. Need help or more information? Contact a Homplex specialist now!
