To sync your Homplex 19 Wi-Fi thermostat with the Tuya Smart app, check that you have followed all the steps in the user manual as well as the step-by-step instructions in the app.
Why does the temperature set on the Homplex 19 Wi-Fi thermostat reset to 16°C or 20°C?
The temperature is reset when you have not set a room temperature for each available time slot in a heating programme in the "Programmed" mode. For example, if you are using weekly programming you need to choose 4 or 6 temperatures to cover all available time slots in the programmed week.
Can I extend the Homplex 19 Wi-Fi thermostat's display backlight time?
The lighting duration can be successfully extended by selecting the "--" option from the setup menu (page 4) and then powering the thermostat using the USB cable included in the package.
What can I do if the thermostat has the heating symbol on the display, but the central heating has not turned on?
If the Homplex 19 Wi-Fi has the heating symbol statically displayed on the screen and no other errors present, check that the receiver has been correctly connected to the thermostat. Follow the installation instructions in the user manual regarding port connections.
Can I keep the thermostat powered through the plug adapter and use batteries at the same time?
If you plan to power your thermostat through the plug adapter for a longer period of time, we recommend that you remove the batteries to prevent leakage due to degradation over time.
I have batteries, can I use them with this thermostat?
We recommend alkaline batteries only. Batteries (classic or even the more modern lithium ones) have other technical specifications that may affect your thermostat.
Where do I activate the open window feature of the Homplex 19 Wi-Fi?
This thermostat does not have this function.
What does the first function in the menu, the "CL" function, do?
The first function in the menu (temperature sensor calibration, CL, default 0) allows you to adjust the temperature displayed/measured by the thermostat. You may, for example, want to synchronize the thermostat with a weather station that is a few degrees off, or the thermostat may not be indicating the temperature correctly. You can adjust the thermostat's display minus or plus 4 degrees. If your thermostat reads 23 degrees and the station reads 24, change the value in this menu to 1 and your thermostat will display 24. From this point on the thermostat's actions (heating on/off) will be related to this altered temperature.
