PE / Steel transitions are used to connect natural gas distribution pipelines with pressure up to 6 bar. The transition connects the main distribution pipe to the secondary pipe used to connect a location to utilities.
Made of polyethylene and steel. They are used for natural gas distribution networks.
The PE /steel through-pipe consists of a high density polyethylene pipe, PE 100, SDR 11 and a metal pipe SR EN 1555-2:2011. . The polyethylene pipe is a common body with the threaded or unthreaded PE/metal through-piece, through which the threaded or welded connection to the natural gas networks is made.
